It’s November, and the holidays are just around the corner. My favorite thing to do over the holidays is to make yummy holiday treats to share with all the wonderful people in my life. And if you plan on making homemade goodies to pass out this year, now is the time to start thinking of ideas. And lucky for you, I have already done that. Here are 23 Amazing Edible Gift Ideas.
I have always been a bit put off by the commercial side of the holiday season. I get it. We want to express our love and appreciation for the ones we love. It feels really good to make people happy. So how about making homemade gifts this year? Who doesn’t love to get homemade goodies made especially for them?
In years past, I have made beeswax candles, homemade soap, delicious jams and jellies, candies, spiced nuts, cordials, wines, and many other fun edible treats. I love to warm up the house, put on some good music, and get crafty in the kitchen. (Yes, I do dance around in my red holiday apron.) I intentionally put all the love and gratitude that I have for my amazing friends and family into the things I make. And I use organic, wholesome ingredients so not only are my offerings delicious, they are nutrient-dense and nourishing as well. Just REAL food.
So, in hopes of inspiring some creative gift giving this year and to minimize the commercial aspect of the holiday season, I have gathered up 20 of the most delicious and fun edible holiday treat recipes I could find. Just imaging receiving a gift basket full of some of these little yummies. I hope that something here arouses your interest and moves you to get crafty in the kitchen this year.
And, please, please let me know if you decide to make some of these. I love to hear feedback!
May your holiday season be peaceful and full of love and laughter.
Warmly,
Katja
